The Ng’ara Career Program connects aspiring students and early-career professionals with experienced mentors who can guide them in career planning, skills development, and personal growth.
Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome professionals from diverse fields who are:
- Committed to empowering and inspiring others
- Willing to share knowledge, skills, and career insights
- Able to dedicate a few hours each month for mentorship sessions (in person or virtual)
The Nga’ra Career Program is a three-month employability skills intervention specifically designed for banking graduates. It is a collaborative effort between the Tanzania Institute of Bankers Association (TIOB) and Niajiri Platform, a workforce development platform dedicated to upskilling talent.
The program has two primary objectives:
- To bridge the soft skills gap among banking graduates by providing them with access to Niajiri tools and training.
- To offer participants the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by experienced professionals in the Tanzanian banking industry.
As a mentor, your commitment would involve dedicating a maximum of 15 hours throughout the duration of the three-month program. You will be assigned mentees, and your guidance and support will be instrumental in their professional development.
