We’re looking for a skilled and responsible driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services. You’ll be in charge of driving company vehicles to transport staff, equipment, and goods while following traffic laws and company policies. You’ll also make sure the vehicle stays in good condition and help out with logistics tasks when needed.

1. Driver – 500 Positions

Key Responsibilities

1. Transporting Staff & Goods

• Safely drive company employees, visitors, and supplies to designated locations on time.
• Deliver construction materials, tools, and other essentials to different project sites.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and unloaded correctly to avoid damage during transit.
• Follow all safety rules, especially when transporting hazardous materials (if required).

2. Records & Documentation

• Keep accurate trip logs, including departure/arrival times, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents.
• Submit trip reports, including any transport issues or challenges faced.
• Maintain vehicle service records, repair history, and schedules.
• Follow company policies on paperwork and reporting.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Obey all traffic rules and company policies at all times.
• Make sure all passengers wear seatbelts and follow safety guidelines.
• Keep the vehicle environmentally compliant and reduce emissions where possible.
• Wear all required safety gear (e.g., reflective vests, seatbelts) while on duty.
• Maintain a clean driving record and use defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents.

4. Handling Emergencies

• Take quick, appropriate action in case of breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies.
• Provide first aid and cooperate with emergency responders if needed.
• Follow company emergency procedures for evacuations or urgent transport needs.

5. Communication & Coordination

• Maintain professional communication with supervisors, logistics teams, and other staff regarding travel schedules and plans.
• Report delays, road closures, or any challenges affecting trips.
• Coordinate with local authorities when permits or security clearances are needed.
• Share trip updates and follow instructions to improve efficiency.

6. Environmental Responsibility

• Practice eco-friendly driving to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
• Follow company policies on waste disposal and environmentally safe vehicle practices.
• Respect environmental safety protocols, especially in sensitive areas.

Requirements

• Valid driving license (Class C, D & E)
• Education:
  • Driving Certificate (NIT or VETA)
  • Defensive Driving Certificate (an added advantage)
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years driving commercial vehicles with a clean record
  • Ability to handle long-distance trips
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs
  • Understanding of safety procedures and best driving practices in construction or industrial settings
• Other Skills:
  • Good fuel management
