Open Positions and Description

1. Geo Technician– (3 Positions)
2. Geologists – (1 Position)
3. Safety Officers – (2      Positions)
4. Environment      Officer – (1 Position)
5. Rigger – (1 Position)
6. Shaft Timberman – (1 Position)
7. Clinical      officer – (2 Position)

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Geo Technician (3 Positions)

• Geotechnical/Geological Engineering Diploma.
• Expertise in lab analysis, sampling, and soil and rock testing.
• Competence with field tools and geotechnical software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

2. Geologists (1 Position)

• Earth sciences or geology bachelor’s degree.
• Two years or more of experience in mining, exploration, or mapping.
• Knowledge of geological software, such as ArcGIS.
• Strong reporting and data interpretation abilities.
• The capacity to operate in remote field settings.

3. Safety Officers (2 Positions)

• Environmental science or occupational health and safety bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• An extra benefit is having a workplace safety certification (such as IOSH or NEBOSH).
• Expertise in risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
• Familiarity with Tanzanian OHS laws.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

4. Environment Officer (1 Position)

• A bachelor’s degree in natural resources management, environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• Expertise in compliance monitoring and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Strong reporting and project management abilities.
• The capacity to encourage sustainability in operations.

5. Rigger (1 Position)

• A degree or certificate in rigging or a similar technical discipline.
• Two years or more of experience in crane signaling, lifting operations, and rigging.
• Understanding of lifting equipment and safe rigging techniques.
• Physically fit and highly conscious of safety.
• Having certification in lifting and rigging operations will be beneficial.

6. Shaft Timberman (1 Position)

• Certification or shown expertise in underground mining, shaft sinking, or shaft timbering.
• At least two years of expertise in subterranean construction, timbering, and shaft support.
• The capacity to operate in deep mining and restricted spaces.
• Strong familiarity with subsurface safety regulations and protocols.
• Physically fit and has excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

7.Clinical officer (2 Positions)

• From an accredited university with a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery (or clinical medicine and community health).
• Being registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council and holding a current license to practice medicine.
• Ideally with a minimum of one to two years of clinical professional experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Swahili and English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to operate with little direction.
